Saturday, November 30th
BCIT, Burnaby, BC

Twenty-one members of the IKOKC gathered at BCIT in Burnaby, BC to attend the IKOKC Officiating Seminar held in conjunction with the 2013 Vancouver Cup Karate Championships.
All aspects of tournament officiating were covered and all those attending actively participated to improve and upgrade their skills.  Apart from the physical skill sets required, many points were discussed and clarified relating to the knowledge component of tournament officiating.
This clinic presents the IKO standard for tournament officials to all attendees.  IKOKC Tournament Official’s certification was attained by several people.
