OSU!

On March 28th the Edmonton Kyokushin Karate Club once again hosted the Alberta Open Kyokushin Karate Championships.  This yearfs tournament continued the trend of being bigger and better than the previous year.  This yearfs event was the biggest in the history of the tournament with 82 fighters.  With some fighters competing in more than one division there were a total of 110 entries!  Participants represented dojos in Edmonton, Calgary, Stony Plain, Cremona, Banff and South Delta.  It was an excellent day of fights with fantastic action and spirit shown by all.  The quality of fighting this year was truly exceptional.  All of the fighters, officials, volunteers and spectators had a great time, and thankfully there were no serious injuries.  The Edmonton Kyokushin Karate Club would like to thank all those who attended the event for their support, and we look forward to seeing you all again next year at this premier Kyokushin event.  Osu.
